Student Training

Program sponsored by the American Scandinavian Foundation

Host a Swedish intern: only an 8-10 week commitment.

The Swedish students interns are from Chalmers, Student Training Program. The program is with the American Scandinavian Foundation.

The students are in at least their third or fourth year of a Masters program. They will graduate in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Automatic Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, Bioengineering. The period is between 8-10 weeks preferably starting from June 8th, 2005. The students pay for their trip, but need assistance with accommodations and food.

There is lots of info on the Web, and if anyone is interested, I have more info and am happy to refer you to or connect you with the right person. I know that SAAB Barracuda in Lillington had a great experience with last year's intern.

I will be happy to assist with any questions.

Best regards,
Anette Nordvall, nordvalls inc

More details on the American Scandinavian Foundation's website:

The ASF Web site also features a page which discusses how to implement a training program for Scandinavian student interns with your company in the U.S. on their Web site. The information on this site is geared toward students, but could be helpful to companies who would like to publicize a newly developed training program.
